Australian multimedia studio mentl.Lab has just unveiled its groundbreaking kinetic artwork: a mesmerising giant sphere made up of 80,000 LED lights, 486 motors and a whole network of computers, responding to sound and music to create an incredible display of light and colour.

Australian multimedia artists Nicholas Perillo (Augmentl Studio), Joshua Batty (MindBuffer) and Mitchell Nordine (MindBuffer) have come together as mentl.Lab to create a groundbreaking new kinetic artwork titled MORPH TE (Taggenbrunn Edition).

"Morph TE" appears to breathe and almost seems like an extraterrestrial being. The kinetic sculpture was built by an Australian artists' collective. Artist André Heller brought it to an exhibition in Austria
